Syma is a well-known brand for making reasonably priced yet solid drones. The first thing to note about this drone is that it gets folded very neatly which makes it super easy to carry. Syma Z1 does not come with controller, and rather is controlled through Syma FLY mobile app. The drone has headless mode, and hover mode which makes it easy for beginners to fly. Syma Z1 can be flown both indoors and outdoors (windless conditions).

Syma Z1 is a sturdy drone more suited for kids and beginners. The drone is not a mini drone, though drone is small enough to carry and is very portable. The app lets you draw a path so that drone will fly based on that route, perfect for making a video. The low battery protection is another great feature, as it will flash warning lights so that you can bring back the drone safely.
There are few challenges as well for flying this drone. If you have a Syma drone, you can use the controller to fly it. However if this is your first Syma drone, you have to fly via mobile app and it can take practice to get familiar to fly the drone. You need to pay attention to both drone and app to fly the drone. There are no extra batteries with the drone so 7-8 minutes of flying time seems less and it takes 120-130 minutes to charge battery so we suggest to pick up extra battery if you plan to buy this drone.
