Sharper Image DX-1
This Sharper Image dx-1 Drone is a masterpiece when it comes to performing stunts in the air like 360° flips.
Performing tricks is possible because it has a gyro that has six axles which make sure that drone stays stable during 
flight.
You do not have to worry about learning to fly it, just power it up and turn on auto pilot, and it will do the rest. It has an auto-landing feature for those that prefer safe landing.

Sharper Image DX-2
This Sharper Image dx-2 one has most of the features that the DX-1 has. It has auto pilot and auto landing mode. 
Sharper image dx-2 allows you to take off your hands from the remote control and allow the drone the freedom to ‘explore.’

This Sharper Image dx-3 Drone is the superior brother of the DX-2 and the DX-1.
The reason for this is because it is not just a drone.

Sharper Image DX-4
This Sharper Image dx-4 drone is the most advanced, in terms of features when compared to the DX-1, DX-2, and 
sharper image dx-4 the DX-3. Like the DX-3, it has a camera.
The camera is more superior at 3MP. The drone has a 3.7V lithium polymer battery that has a capacity of 800 mah.
This battery, when fully charged, will power the drone for an average maximum of 10 minutes and the battery will take around 45 minutes to recharge on a standard power supply entirely.

hi, first time to your site and just had to say thank you!!
Customer service terrible. No where on the box dor dx-2 stunt drone, does it say you can only use it indoors. As a matter of fact it tells you not to let it get caught in wind. Remote control overheated so much that you ciuldnt touch it and smoke was coming out of it. Company offers mo solution as to why the drone list cinnection and took off on its own and is niw gone. So I will not ever buy one of their products again.
Thats strange ,and I think could be a one off case- as I own a DX-4 that I bought from here http://amzn.to/2sSN5no .It has been great so far after 6 months.
I just posted a complaint as well but in short, I too had a faulty remote and now no drone and they won’t do anything about it except give me the next size up for a “complimentary” price of $47. Sounds like a racket to me

The sharper image drone is a great drone to take aerial views of your home and neighborhood. Our neighbors did that and sent us a picture of our home while we were on vacation.

Being a photographer lover, I am excited that Sharper Image has come up with state of the art technology drones that will help an art enthusiast like me take better photographs and film projects.

does anyone know where to get replacement rotor blades for the DX-4? or what generic blades can be used?
say you’ve already used up the replacements that came with your drone you can get new blades on ebay or amazon or the sharper image website. You could also just search “sharper image dx-4 replacement rotor blades”.
the Dx-3 and the dx 4 parts should interchange, shell props etc…
Hi just bought the DX-1 and had to use the replacement blade pretty much soon after. Once i swapped out the blade, the drone keeps flipping over to the side upon trying to fly it, where the on/off switch is (also where the replacement blade is)
Any ideas to help me resolve it/
Make sure the correct blade is in place. There are two different styles of the blade. One spins clockwise and the other spins counter clockwise.

Yeah. But I have a stupid question. Where can you purchase replacement parts for these drones? I have a hundred dollar drone that has only been flown once by a friend who crashed it and didn’t turn off the throttle and stripped the gears on the motor. So now I have a hundred dollar camera. Folks do not purchase this product because there is no support for it as you can see by my story
My mother (whom may I add I’d on a fixed income and can’t really afford this stuff) bought me on for Christmas. I took it out and started flying and the remote wouldn’t bring in back down no matter what I done. Joystick, buttons, turning it off, NOTHING worked. Now I have a remote with no drone. I called customer service and even spoke with a “supervisor” and all they can say is that it’s “designed for open spaces only” even thought it advertises flying around the neighbourhood and blames it on highlines (which it wasnt by) and wind (that… Read more »
the wind can change as well as pressure higher up and if the battery is low the blades wont stop turning til the battery dies you have to guide the drone down or wait til battery runs out and drone falls
I have the dx-2 drone from sharper image and i find the direction trim, auto landing, and auto orientation ineffective and likely to cause a crash if used below 30 feet. Also the control in general above 100 or 115 feet or below 15 feet is unstable due to altitude limits and pressure differences makes the drone unstable. I recommend flying the drone between 30-60 feet.
I just got dx 2 it was working fine and then it took off straight up and away from me haven’t found it yet

I bought a brand new DX-4 last January2017 at a local flea market. It eas brand new n had never been outa of the box. They were asking $30 n I actually ended up giving $25. Well I bought one aND it worked fine for a while but when it landed it stay on didn’t turn off right away like I thought it would and then one motor gave out so it would flip over to one side ,but I do have to say I was my first time using a drone and it was very easy-to-use, better than my brother’s, it has it’s good points and bad points but I do think they should do more testing before putting it on the market instead of trying to put it out so soon, just my opinion.

no it doesn’t they wrote review wrong . i have 7 of them because new in box from walmart last week they were less than 20 bucks each. they day after i got my last one in. walmart jacked the price to double at 44 bucks. glad i got them when i did. 2 of them were broke before they ever took flight. but i kept them anyways because. one screw and the battery comes out and the battery is compatible with the dromeda vista . the vista uses a 850 mah battery. and the dx-3 comes with a 800… Read more »
the dx-1 which they say is very hard to fly is my fave. .i got over 30 hours of flight off of my first one, the dx-2 likes to throw off blades mid-flight. I still love it. but have to fly inside or tennis court so as not to lose the blades in the grass. now the dx-3 is not a very good craft. it flies great . but in the last 2 months i have purchased 7 of them. and right of the box brand new. the last 2 i got one motor would not work and still doesn’t… Read more »
Just bought dx5 USB charger cable has no light directions says will light up when charging and go out when fully charged my cable is just a black cable no light ….anybody??
